Internship Description

Matrix Sensors, Inc. is seeking a bright, enthusiastic learner to join our chemistry team for the summer. This is a full-time internship at our San Diego, CA facility. Start/end dates are FLEXIBLE depending on your school schedule. Interns are responsible for finding housing and transportation for their internship.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Solution preparation
• Following experimental procedures
• Basic data analysis
• Assisting the chemistry team
• Analyze data, interpret results, develop new project directions, and solve problems as results arise
• Document technical work in detail and present to the team

Desired skills include:  
• Expertise in basic scientific methods and lab procedures
• Proven high attention to detail
• Strong commitment to laboratory safety

• Pursuing a degree in chemistry, biology, or similar lab-based degree
• 2 quarters of lab experience (course or extracurricular)
• Able to commit to 35-40 hrs/week for a minimum of 12 weeks
