FAQs

How can I find out more information?

Our services are detailed here. Please use the above contact form or email info@matrixsensorsinc.com for more information.

What services do you offer?

Matrix Sensors offers contract R&D services to accelerate the development of sorbent materials for carbon capture, gas separations and gas storage. Our thin film measurement technology enables rapid screening of materials with fast turnaround times.

Our process:
1. Sample prep: Convert powder into ink with TAF binder, spin coat onto transducers
2. Validation: Test powder and ink on TGA to verify uptake
3. Testing: Run programs for isotherms, kinetics, and/or lifecycle
4. Data analysis: Convert time-series data to isotherms, analyze time constants, and determine aging rate

What is the MGA-1?

The MGA-1 is a multi-gas adsorption instrument created by Matrix Sensors. It is currently under development and will be available starting Q4 2024. The MGA-1 has the following capabilities:

Uptake: Unary and binary isotherms
Kinetics: Adsorption times <2 minutes
Aging: T swing lifecycle testing, <10 minutes per cycle
Humidity: 0 – 80% RH
CO2: 0 – 50% CO2
Temp: 10 – 100°C

How can I request a quote?

Please fill out the contact form above or email info@matrixsensorsinc.com. Please include business name, contact name, address, and a description of the service(s) needed. A representative will contact you within 1-2 business days.
